Food Checker is a pre-release iOS app that helps users scan ingredient labels and review possible allergen, additive, and dietary flags for informational purposes.

Information processed

When you scan or submit an ingredient label, the app may send image data, extracted text, selected preferences, account/session data if sign-in is used, and analysis results to the Food Checker backend in order to provide app functionality.

How information is used

Information is used to process scans, return ingredient analysis, support account/profile functionality, improve reliability, and operate the app.

Data sharing

Food Checker does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, database, authentication, analytics, or other service providers used to operate the app.
